Job summary

Heartstrings Pet Hospice is seeking a compassionate veterinarian to provide in-home hospice and end-of-life care across California communities, including Stockton, Oakdale, Modesto, and surrounding areas. You’ll practice medicine on the road with strong mentorship and ongoing training, ensuring every family experiences respectful, dignified care in the comfort of home.

The role offers flexible scheduling with 2–5 day weeks, guaranteed base pay plus quarterly bonuses, and a supportive team

Qualifications

• DVM/VMD/BVMS required.
• Valid U.S. Driver's License required.
• Lift up to 50 lbs unassisted and up to 90 lbs with assistance.
• License verification and background check before start date.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-home hospice and in-home euthanasia care.
• Practice medicine independently on the road with mentorship and support.
• Balance compassionate care with families during end-of-life moments.
