Job summary

Heartstrings Pet Hospice, In-Home Euthanasia & Aftercare is seeking compassionate veterinarians to provide in-home hospice and end-of-life care for pets across the Denver, Aurora, Littleton, Westminster, Arvada, Lakewood, Parker and surrounding areas. You will work independently on the road with strong mentorship and a supportive team, prioritizing patient comfort and family guidance.

The role offers flexible scheduling options (5-day full-time, 4-day full-time starting at $110,000, and 2–3-day

Qualifications

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD/BVMS) is required.
• Valid U.S. Driver's License is required.
• Weekends on your terms with flexible scheduling options.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted and up to 90 lbs with assistance.
• License verification, background check, and driving record review will be completed before start.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate in-home hospice and end-of-life care for pets.
• Practice medicine on the road with autonomy and mentorship from the team.
• Spend meaningful time with families, answering questions with kindness.
