Job summary

Heartstrings Pet Hospice is seeking compassionate veterinarians to provide in-home hospice and end-of-life euthanasia services across Denver metro areas. You’ll travel to families’ homes, delivering care with empathy and patience, in a low-stress setting designed for meaningful goodbyes.

The role emphasizes autonomous practice with day-to-day support from a caring team, flexible 2–5 day schedules, and a strong focus on work-life balance. Lets you choose weekends and build a life you love.

Qualifications

• Must hold DVM/VMD/BVMS and be licensed to practice in the US.
• Valid US Driver's License is required.
• Weekends on your terms to fit life and family.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted and up to 90 lbs with assistance.

Responsibilities

• Provide end-of-life hospice and in-home euthanasia care to pets in familiar home settings.
• Practice medicine independently on the road while staying connected to a supportive team.
• Address difficult questions with kindness and help families say goodbye with dignity.
