Job summary

Heartstrings Pet Hospice seeks compassionate veterinarians to provide end-of-life care directly in clients' homes, offering dignity and presence during difficult moments.

You'll travel to service areas including Denver, Aurora, Littleton, Westminster, Arvada, Lakewood, Parker, with a choice of 2–5 day/week schedules and a self-managed option. Expect generous pay, quarterly bonuses, and ongoing mentorship.

Qualifications

• DVM or equivalent licensed to practice in the U.S.
• Valid U.S. Driver's License
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs (90 lbs with assistance)
• Willingness to perform at-home hospice care and euthanasia services

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate in-home hospice and euthanasia care to families and pets
• Practice medicine with time and presence, avoiding rushed visits
• Support families through end-of-life decisions with dignity and empathy
• Participate in onboarding and mentorship programs to maintain high standards of care
