Job summary

Boulder County Housing Department is seeking a Special Projects Manager (Mobile Home Communities) to lead and coordinate county resources for mobile home residents. The position is grant-funded for one year, with an anticipated end date of January 31, 2028, and operates in a remote/hybrid setting with in-person meetings in Boulder and Longmont, CO.

Qualifications

• 7 years of experience leading mobile home community, affordable housing, low-income, and/or under-resourced community initiatives.
• Background in grant management, contracting, and program oversight.
• Experience coordinating cross-department programs and navigating complex stakeholders.
• Willingness to reside in Colorado by start date and meet background check requirements.

Responsibilities

• Manage project initiation, planning, execution, and closure.
• Coordinate and schedule resources and tasks to meet milestones.
• Provide leadership and vendor coordination to ensure aligned goals.
• Develop relationships with internal customers and third‑party partners.
• Oversee grant-funded activities, budgeting, reporting, and compliance.
