Job summary

Argus Community, Inc. is seeking an Infectious Disease Tester to join the HUB program at the Harm Reduction Center in the Bronx.

The role covers HIV/HCV testing on-site and in the field, outreach to community partners, and facilitation of PrEP/PEP access. You will establish HUB client records in AWARDS, maintain referrals, and participate in trainings to provide pre/post test counseling and risk-reduction education.

Qualifications

• Experience conducting infectious disease testing (HIV/HCV)
• Experience with outreach to target populations (women, homeless, PWID)
• Familiar with harm reduction practices

Responsibilities

• Perform HIV and HCV testing on-site and in the field at community events.
• Communicate effectively with participants before and after testing.
• Maintain confidentiality and accurate record-keeping in AWARDS database.
• Attend trainings and provide PrEP/PEP education and referrals.
