Cherokee Nation Government Solutions (CNGS) is seeking an experienced Mobile Heavy Equipment Mechanic to provide on-site diagnostic, troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair services for USMC ground equipment. The role involves extensive travel to support operations across multiple locations and requires the ability to obtain an active Secret clearance.

Travel and field work are essential, with responsibility for maintaining safety standards and accurate maintenance records.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience maintaining and repairing military heavy equipment.
• Ability to obtain and maintain government security clearance.
• Valid Driver's License.
• Willingness to travel to multiple field locations.

Responsibilities

• Perform field-level maintenance, inspections, and diagnostics on USMC ground equipment.
• Identify and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic malfunctions.
• Conduct preventive maintenance and repairs per manuals and standards.
• Replace and adjust major systems and components (transmissions, engines, brakes).
• Maintain documentation of maintenance activities and parts usage.
