Job summary

Empire Cat seeks a field lubrication technician to perform lubrication and maintenance at client job sites, inspect equipment, and identify opportunities to upsell lubrication services. You will follow CAT Lube and Maintenance Guides, maintain safety, prepare service reports and oil cards, and travel to remote locations as needed.

A high school diploma, valid CDL, English proficiency, and the ability to obtain HazMat endorsement are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid CDL with site-specific requirements.
• Must be able to communicate in English.
• HazMat endorsement possible with background check.

Responsibilities

• Performs field lubrication and inspection duties with focus on safety, accuracy, and economy.
• Helps plan and control lubrication and preventative maintenance jobs.
• Assists lead to analyze client requirements and determine job scope.
• Alerts Empire about potential parts, service, or sales opportunities.
• Ensures trucks are topped with oil and waste oil is emptied at day’s end.
• Writes accurate equipment condition reports and prepares service reports.
