Job summary

Snider Fleet Solutions is hiring skilled Truck and Trailer Mechanics to join our team across multiple locations. The role focuses on preventive maintenance, DOT inspections, and completing all related paperwork, with no heavy engine or transmission repair required.

Earn competitive pay with incentives and opportunities for growth. Qualified candidates will have 2–5 years of diesel mechanic experience, a valid Class C Driver's License, and certifications for Federal Annual inspection and Brake

Qualifications

Minimum 2-5 years of diesel mechanic experience.
Valid Class C Driver's License.
Federal Annual and Brake Inspector certifications required within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

Conduct routine maintenance tasks along with documentation.
Repair and maintain heavy duty trucks and trailers.
PM Inspection, brake job, brake chamber and slack adjuster replacement, wheel seal replacement and wheel end adjustment.
Examine all system parts looking for damage, excessive wear, loose bolts, broken welds, structural deficiencies, air leaks, oil leaks, stuck, frozen, or rusted parts, as well as safety devices on all types of trailers.
Accurately complete DOT forms and all other forms of documentation in timely fashion.
Accurately fill out work order forms, ensuring all parts are included.
Follow safety protocols and company policies.
