Diesel Direct, LLC. is seeking a Mobile Maintenance Mechanic in Sparks, NV to perform heavy duty truck maintenance and field repairs. The role involves diagnosing, repairing, and testing equipment, with travel to remote sites for preventative maintenance on trucks.

Ideal candidates will have 3–5 years of experience with heavy duty truck systems, strong communication skills, and the ability to work independently with own tools. Welding may be required occasionally.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years’ experience in heavy duty truck applications.
• Excellent written and spoken communication skills.
• Mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems used in heavy duty equipment.
• Ability to lift 50lbs.
• Must have own tools.
• Ability to use multiple scanning tools for diagnostics.
• Ability to use and interpret technical manuals.
• Ability to work alone.

Responsabilités

• Inspect, troubleshoot, and diagnose Heavy Duty trucks and other equipment.
• Repair and/or replace any defective parts, components, or systems.
• Test equipment once repaired to ensure operation is complete.
• Travel to various remote sites to accomplish field repairs and/or Preventative Maintenance on internal and external trucks.
• Document steps taken throughout the repair process on work orders and list supplies used for the repairs.
• Occasional welding on equipment as needed.
