Job summary

FleetPride is the nation's largest distributor of heavy-duty truck and trailer parts. This role involves inspecting vehicles, performing preventative maintenance, and repairing brakes, suspensions, electrical systems, and exhausts to keep fleets on the road.

Ideal candidates will have 3+ years of experience with class 7 & 8 trucks, a valid driver's license (Class A CDL preferred), and the ability to lift 50 lbs while maintaining a safety-first approach in a busy shop environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience repairing class 7 & 8 trucks and trailers.
• Welding experience is a plus.
• Air Brake Certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Examine vehicles to determine extent of damage or malfunction.
• Provide preventative maintenance solutions when appropriate.
• Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes, lubrications and filter replacements.
• Repair, reline, replace, and adjust brakes (air, hydraulic, electric).
• Test drive vehicles and test components using proper equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair suspension, electrical, exhaust, steering and air conditioning systems.
• Maintain a clean, safe workspace and practice safe driving.
