Job summary

Nite Lines USA, Inc. in Georgia is seeking a Mobile Unit Driver to operate the DeKalb County Public Health Mobile Medical Unit safely and professionally.

The role requires a valid Georgia driver's license, a clean driving record, and preferably five or more years of related driving experience. You will handle vehicle readiness, equipment checks, loading/unloading, and provide excellent service at outreach sites while adhering to schedules and safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to obtain GA Class C vehicle operator’s license.
• Five (5) years or more of directly related driving experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate the Mobile Medical Vehicle during events.
• Verify vehicle readiness and onboard equipment before and after events.
• Maintain cleanliness of the mobile unit at all times.
• Perform routine vehicle inspections and report issues promptly.
• Load and unload equipment and supplies.
• Maintain fuel levels and ensure the vehicle is mechanically sound.
• Complete mileage logs and prepare required reports.
• Read maps, estimate travel times, and follow routes and schedules.
• Provide superior customer service at outreach sites.
