Job summary

Quest Diagnostics Incorporated seeks a Health Screener to cover field health screenings, performing finger sticks, BMI, blood pressure and related tasks at client sites. This is an independent contractor (1099) role with potential conversion to a W2 per diem employee after criteria are met.

Responsibilities include handling specimen collection, basic waived testing, maintaining records, delivering excellent customer service, and complying with HIPAA/OSHA requirements.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of healthcare experience in a professional setting preferred.
• Must follow all regulations and comply with them.
• Proficient with finger sticks and manual blood pressure.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform biometric screening at client sites including finger stick blood collection, BMI, Blood Pressure and other health screening services.
• Performs basic waived testing procedures on blood samples and completes required quality control.
• Provide exceptional customer service at all health screenings.
• Maintains accurate, complete, and legible records.
• Complies with safety policies and HIPAA/OSHA standards.
