Job summary

Quest Diagnostics is seeking a Health Screener to provide field coverage for health screenings, including finger sticks and vital measurements, at client sites on an independent contractor basis. You will ensure timely, accurate screenings and maintain compliant records while traveling to events.

The role emphasizes patient service, safety compliance (HIPAA/OSHA) and quality control in a dynamic public health setting. Per diem, with potential conversion to W-2 after criteria are met.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of healthcare experience in a professional setting preferred.
• Must be able to perform finger sticks and basic health screenings.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Proficient in record keeping and basic computer tasks (Word/Excel/Outlook).
• Ability to travel to client sites as required.

Responsibilities

• Perform biometric screening at client sites including finger stick blood collection, BMI, blood pressure and other health screening services.
• Perform basic waived testing procedures on blood samples and ensure quality control.
• Provide exceptional customer service at all health screenings and maintain accurate records.
• Follow safety policies, HIPAA and OSHA standards during events.
