Job summary

HODGE is seeking a Forklift Service Technician to perform preventative maintenance and on-site service for customers’ equipment. You will run computer-based diagnostics on forklifts, track work orders, and coordinate with the sales team to understand customer needs.

Qualifications include a High School Diploma or GED and basic computer proficiency; preferred are further education and experience in forklift service or automotive maintenance.

Qualifications

• Required: High School Diploma, GED or continuing education.
• Preferred: College degree and/or continuing education.

Responsibilities

• Provide preventative maintenance (PM) services for customers’ equipment.
• Provide services at customer sites as required.
• Run computer-based diagnostics on forklifts and other products.
• Track purchase orders for reimbursement purposes.
• Communicate with sales team to discover customer needs.
• Comply with all OSHA and site-specific safety & PPE requirements.
• Operate all company equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
• Work toward continuous improvement.
• Stay current with changing technology.
• Uphold, support, and promote all company policies and procedures.
