Job summary

Toyota Lift NW in Chehalis, WA is seeking a Road Mechanic to represent TLNW professionally with strong safety and service mindset. You will perform PM services at customer sites, conduct field repairs, and verify lifts are properly registered for maintenance.

This role requires operating and maintaining equipment safely, upselling Preventative Maintenance agreements, documenting work orders, and communicating with dispatch at start, during, and end of day.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma and ability to shift priorities in a changing environment.
• Mechanical ability to repair equipment and operate various machines.
• 2 years breakdown or field service experience; or equivalent education/experience.
• Strong communication skills, written and oral.
• Ability to lead and supervise small group of technicians.
• Experience in customer service and material handling environment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform PM services at a designated customer location.
• Visually check customer lift and verify PM service enrollment.
• Perform field repairs at a designated customer location.
• Upsell during repairs and Preventative Maintenance agreements.
• Check in with Dispatcher at start, during, and end of day.
• Document all work orders using Catavolt.
• Review work in process and complete all open work orders promptly.
• Complete safety inspection forms monthly to ensure vehicles and tools are maintained.
• Maintain safety by surrounding work area with safety cones and using PPE.
• Familiarize with proper use of tools and practice 5S.
• Notify supervisor of safety concerns.
