Job summary
S & F Investments is seeking a Restaurant Mechanical Equipment Technician to perform preventative and repair maintenance on equipment, facilities, and grounds for restaurants in the region. Maintains operational standards and safety procedures under the supervision of the Sr. District Manager.
Ideal candidates have HVAC, electrical, refrigeration repair experience and strong mechanical aptitude. A valid driver s license is required for daily travel between locations, with strong customer service
Qualifications
- HVAC maintenance and repair experience
- Experience with electrical and refrigeration repair
- Basic carpentry and building maintenance knowledge
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Valid drivers license and ability to travel between restaurants daily
Responsibilities
- HVAC maintenance and repair and EPA certificate.
- Source parts and manage expenditures.
- Prioritize and plan a daily repair route.
- Install and connect utilities for foodservice equipment.
- Study manuals/diagrams and gather required materials.
- Test and repair equipment and replace faulty components.
- Maintain equipment and service records.
- Respond to emergencies including nights and weekends.
- Perform plumbing, electrical, light carpentry tasks.
- Ensure safe and healthy work environment and assist with projects and vendor coordination.
