Job summary

IOCP is seeking a Food Shelf Mobile Leader to drive the Mobile Food Shelf Program in our community. You will work with volunteers to set up and operate at various locations, ensuring a welcoming client experience and efficient service.

You will lead distribution, manage inventory, and document program outcomes while adhering to safety procedures. This role involves collaboration, growth, and a passion for serving diverse families in need.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 3 years of experience delivering exceptional customer service to diverse groups.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lift/move up to 50 pounds and operate warehouse equipment.
• Experience leading volunteers and working in team settings.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish, Somali, or Russian preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage Mobile Food Shelf Program operations.
• Coordinate volunteers and direct shifts to ensure smooth client flow.
• Oversee inventory, transportation, setup, and teardown at events.
• Document pounds distributed and families served in the system.
• Maintain up-to-date food shelf policies and safety procedures.
• Support program development and learning through documented insights.
