Job summary

Interfaith Outreach & Community Partners (IOCP) seeks a Food Shelf Mobile Leader to launch and manage our Mobile Food Shelf program. You will coordinate events, oversee inventory, transport supplies with volunteers, and ensure a welcoming check-in and shopping experience for families.

This full-time role requires leadership, teamwork, and strong communication; you will train volunteers, document learnings, and adapt operations as the program grows.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record.
• 3 years of experience providing exceptional customer services to diverse groups of people.
• Must be able to lift or move up to 50 pounds and operate warehouse equipment.
• Ability to drive cargo van and 16 foot box truck.
• Strong interpersonal and leadership skills; reliable and collaborative.

Responsibilities

• Prepare for mobile food shelf events with inventory, supplies, and equipment.
• Transport items to locations and lead volunteers for setup and merchandising.
• Oversee guest intake, product replenishment, and respond to questions.
• Record pounds distributed and families served; ensure safety and procedures.
• Document learnings to support program growth and improvement.
