Job summary

The Food Depot in New Mexico is seeking a Mobile Delivery Coordinator Non-Exempt to oversee safe operation of the FM3, maintain daily logistics, and support food distributions in rural communities. The role requires a valid Class A CDL and works as part of a two-driver team.

You will handle loading, inventory, client check‑in, data records, and daily pre/post inspections while ensuring food safety, proper temperatures, and on-time distributions.

Qualifications

• Must possess and maintain a valid Class A CDL and DOT medical card.
• Experience with loading, inventory, and FIFO rotation preferred.
• Ability to work independently or in a two-person team and provide professional customer service.

Responsibilities

• Operate a Class A vehicle safely and transport FM3 to distribution sites.
• Work in a two-driver team to manage transportation, stocking, loading, and setup.
• Assist with ordering and stocking dry, produce, refrigerated items for distributions.
• Stock and organize FM3, ensure adequate product and supplies before departure.
• Rotate inventory using FIFO and follow food safety procedures.
• Monitor temperatures and inspect products for quality and safety.
• Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections and maintain logs.
• Set up/break down distribution sites and assist with client check-in.
• Maintain records, communicate with staff, and plan routes for rural sites.
• Provide direction to volunteers and comply with DOT/FMCSA requirements.
