Job summary

Roadrunner Food Bank of New Mexico seeks a Class A CDL Driver to safely deliver food across the state. You’ll represent the organization, interact with partner agencies, and ensure on‑time service in all weather conditions.

This role requires a valid CDL, DOT certification, ServSafe training, and a strong commitment to safety and customer service. Expect travel, loading/unloading, and operating forklifts as needed.

Qualifications

• CDL Class A license with a safe driving record and DOT medical certification.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Servsafe training and insurance requirements apply.

Responsibilities

• Deliver food to organizations and schools across New Mexico.
• Load and unload trailers as needed; transport perishable goods with proper temperatures.
• Maintain DOT logs using an electronic logging device (ELD).
• Read schedules and orders to plan deliveries and inventory movements.
• Operate forklifts and pallet jacks safely when required.
• Provide excellent customer service to partner agencies, donors, and the public.
