Mechanics Hub in Dallas, TX is seeking a Mobile Fleet Technician to service utility, telecom, rail, and forestry equipment. Enjoy a take-home service vehicle and regular travel with 2 overnight stays per week, plus company training and advancement opportunities.

You will perform preventative maintenance, inspections (DOT, ANSI, dielectric), diagnose hydraulic, electrical, brake, and engine systems on-site, and keep precise repair records while working independently across the Dallas area.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience as a diesel, automotive, or heavy equipment technician.
• Ability to complete DOT, ANSI, and dielectric inspections.
• Strong diagnostics and repair skills for hydraulics, electrical, and brake systems.
• Willingness to travel 24 nights per week.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance and scheduled services on fleet vehicles and equipment in the field.
• Conduct DOT inspections, ANSI boom inspections, and dielectric testing annually per federal standards.
• Diagnose and repair hydraulic, electrical, air brake, wet brake, and engine systems on-site.
• Service specialized fleet assets, including forestry trucks, bucket trucks, digger derricks, and related utility vehicles.
• Maintain accurate records of repairs, inspections, and service documentation.
• Operate independently as a mobile technician throughout the Dallas, TX area and surrounding areas.
• Travel regularly with 24 overnight stays per week based on fleet location and availability.

Duties & Responsibilities:Perform preventative maintenance and scheduled services on fleet vehicles and equipment in the field.Conduct DOT inspections, ANSI boom inspections, and dielectric testing annually per federal standards.Diagnose and repair hydraulic, electrical, air brake, wet brake, and engine systems on-site.Service specialized fleet assets, including forestry trucks, bucket trucks, digger derricks, and related utility vehicles.Maintain accurate records of repairs, inspections, and service documentation.Operate independently as a mobile technician throughout the Dallas, TX area and surrounding areas.Travel regularly with 2–4 overnight stays per week based on fleet location and availability.
