Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking an experienced mobile diesel/trailer technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain commercial fleet trucks and trailers in the Allentown area. The role covers diesel engine systems, brakes, suspension, air lines, electrical components, and light body work, with emphasis on safety and DOT compliance.

The successful candidate will perform preventive maintenance, document work performed, and communicate clearly with customers on-site, operating a fully equipped mobile service

Qualifications

• 4+ years of diesel and/or trailer repair experience.
• Strong knowledge of truck and trailer systems including brakes, suspension, lighting, air systems, and electrical.
• Ability to diagnose and complete repairs in the field.
• Valid driver’s license; CDL is a plus.
• Self-motivated and able to manage daily workload independently.

Responsibilities

Requirements

• 4 or more years of diesel and/or trailer repair experience; mobile repair experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of truck and trailer systems including brakes, suspension, lighting, air systems, and electrical
• Ability to independently diagnose and complete repairs in the field
• Strong customer service skills and clear communication
• Valid driver’s license required; CDL is a plus
• Self‑motivated and able to manage daily workload independently
