Avis Budget Group is hiring a skilled technician in Little Rock, AR to service a fleet of cargo vans and box trucks. You will perform maintenance, mechanical repairs, and diagnostics with minimal supervision, including electrical work and warranty repairs.

The role may involve travel to customer locations and driving Budget Trucks on public roads as needed. This position emphasizes safety, reliability, and quick turnaround to keep customers moving; strong ASE credentials and the ability to

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of mechanical repair and diagnostics experience on medium- to heavy-duty equipment.
• At least 1 ASE certification, with ability to obtain additional ASE certs within 1 year.
• Valid driver's license; CDL may be required depending on location.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work outdoors in a shop environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform standard and complex mechanical repairs on cargo vans and box trucks with minimal supervision.
• Include preventive maintenance, oil services, tire work, brakes, suspension, electrical diagnostics, and warranty repairs.
• Occasional mobile repair work and transporting vehicles to repair sites as needed to minimize downtime.
