Job summary

Martin Marietta is seeking a Master Mobile Mechanic to lead diagnostics, repairs, and rebuilds on heavy mobile equipment across sites. You will supervise mechanics, mentor the crew, and drive improvements in fleet performance while ensuring MSHA and company standards are followed.

You will use CAT ET and Komatsu diagnostics to interpret fault codes, perform calibrations, and certify that equipment meets specifications before return to production. Strong leadership and safety focus are essential.

Qualifications

• Vocational training or equivalent experience required.
• Advanced technical certifications in diesel, hydraulics, or welding preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform expert-level troubleshooting on diesel engines, hydraulics, electrical circuits, drivetrains.
• Lead rebuilds, supervise complex maintenance projects, mentor team members.
• Ensure 100% MSHA compliance and company standards.
• Diagnose and repair heavy mobile equipment at multiple sites.
• Coordinate parts sourcing and documentation of service records.
