Job summary

CBRE is seeking a Mobile Building Engineer to perform preventive maintenance and repairs on fire doors and life-safety systems across four hospital sites in Central Texas. The role includes inspections, data entry in Excel, and traveling from Temple, Round Rock, to Waco with primary work centered in Temple, TX.

Ideal candidates will have 4–5 years of related experience, a High School Diploma or GED, and Universal CFC certification, along with a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• CFC/Universal certification required to operate HVAC-related tasks.
• Authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on fire doors and life-safety systems to ensure compliance.
• Conduct inspections, testing, and visual assessments of facility assets.
• Document inspections and repairs in Excel and maintain records.
• Manage a work van and travel across Temple, Round Rock, and Waco with focus on Temple.
• Oversee maintenance of life-safety and control systems and ensure safety standards.
