Job summary

Equipment Depot Inc. is seeking a field service technician to repair and maintain electric, diesel, and gasoline industrial trucks and construction equipment.

You will read work orders, diagnose problems, discuss repair options with customers, and provide accurate estimates when needed. Responsibilities include performing mechanical repairs after inspection, recording detailed service descriptions, ensuring safety devices are functional, lubricating moving parts, and returning paperwork and time

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1–3 months related experience or training.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Read work orders and observe/listen to truck in operation to diagnose problems.
• Offer solutions and provide estimates when appropriate.
• Make mechanical repairs after inspection and analysis of breakdown.
• Record complete repair description on work order, including model, serial number, and hours.
• Communicate with customers about repair needs and work completed.
• Inspect guards and safety devices and make adjustments as needed.
• Lubricate moving parts and verify repairs by road testing.
• Maintain professional image and submit paperwork and time cards on time.
