Job summary

Curry Fluid Power is seeking a dedicated Field Service Mechanic to diagnose, repair, and maintain trucks and equipment at customer sites. This role requires a high school diploma, at least two years of experience in heavy truck repair, and strong interpersonal skills.

The Mechanic will operate a company truck, conduct hydraulic pressure testing, and ensure compliance with safety standards. Candidates should have a solid background in diesel and automotive systems and be able to work independently in the field.

Qualifications

• Minimum two (2) years’ experience repairing and maintaining heavy trucks required.
• Experience in auto repair, truck body, oil and gas, and electrical/hydraulic experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain trucks, equipment, and machinery.
• Perform warranty and mechanical repairs.
• Visit customer work sites for on-site repairs.

Proficient reading, writing, grammar, and mathematics skills

Effective communication and interpersonal skills

Advanced mechanical repair skills including diesel and automotive systems

Troubleshooting equipment and repair skills

Proficient use of hand and power tools

Education
