Job summary

Yancey Bros. Co. in Albany, GA is seeking a Field Service Truck Technician to perform truck repairs at customer facilities and on-site job sites. You will diagnose, repair Cummins engines and school bus systems, write reports, and ensure safe, high-quality workmanship.

Ideal candidates have high school diploma, valid driver's license, ability to read and speak English, and a strong customer-service mindset. CDL is preferred but not required; overtime may be needed.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years or older.
• Valid, active driver's license.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English.
• Ability to clear driver screenings and provide necessary information for a complete DQ file; includes road test, background check, DOT physical and drug screen.
• Must not be disqualified to drive a CMV under 49 CFR 391.15.
• Technical knowledge of school bus systems.
• Strong mechanical ability.
• Able to work with little supervision.

Responsibilities

• Perform truck repairs at customer facilities in a neat, safe manner.
• Diagnose and repair with accuracy; apply failure analysis.
• Maintain and service customer machines/equipment to high standards.
• Write full reports on findings from field service events.
