Job summary

Yancey Bros. Co. in Georgia seeks a Field Service Truck Technician to perform truck repairs at customer facilities and diagnose Cummins engines. You will maintain safety, write clear reports, and communicate effectively with customers about maintenance and repairs.

HS diploma required; technical degree or certification is a plus. CDL is preferred but not required. Must be willing to work overtime and after-hours as needed, with strong teamwork and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years or older.
• Valid, active driver’s license and ability to pass screenings.
• Technical knowledge of school bus systems with strong mechanical ability.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform truck repairs at customer facilities and diagnose issues.
• Write full reports on findings from field service events.
• Communicate with customers on maintenance and repairs; safety-focused.
• Be willing to work overtime and after-hours as needed.
