Job summary

Abel Womack in New Bedford, MA is seeking Field Service Technicians to install, maintain, and repair Raymond battery-powered lift trucks and related material-handling equipment in a defined territory. The role includes a company-issued service vehicle and extensive technical training.

You will troubleshoot with customers, apply your mechanical and electrical skills, and complete electronic work orders on a company tablet while delivering professional service and building strong customer

Qualifications

Experience diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical equipment.
Experience with electrical fuel systems, sensor technology, hydraulics, PLCs, or charging systems (a plus).
Ability to read schematics, maps, blueprints, and manuals.
Must provide your own basic mechanic tools; specialty tools will be provided.
Valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
Ability to lift up to 75 lbs regularly.

Responsibilities

Travel within an assigned territory to install, maintain, and repair Raymond battery-powered lift trucks and related equipment.
Work directly with customers to troubleshoot and resolve equipment challenges.
Apply and grow mechanical and technical skills through continuous training.
Submit electronic work orders efficiently using a company-provided tablet.
Represent Abel Womack with professionalism and excellent customer service.
