Job summary

Nilfisk is seeking a skilled Field Service Technician to diagnose and repair commercial and industrial floor cleaning equipment at customer sites or in the shop. You will complete reports, maintain required certifications, and manage spare parts stock to ensure smooth service operations.

The role requires strong communication, independence, and hands-on mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic troubleshooting abilities, with reading of schematics and use of diagnostic tools.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or equivalent (two-year college or technical school) or 5 years relevant experience.
• 3 years prior experience in similar or related field.
• Ability to read, understand, and follow electrical/hydraulic schematics and use basic electrical testing/diagnostic tools.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair commercial/industrial floor cleaning equipment at branch or customer site.
• Complete and submit all required reports, time sheets, and reports as directed by Branch Supervisor.
• Maintain training and certifications required for the position in a timely manner.
• Maintain van spare parts stock at specified levels.
