Job summary

Nilfisk, Inc. is seeking a field service technician to troubleshoot and repair commercial and industrial floor cleaning equipment at customer sites or in-house shops.

You will complete service reports and timesheets while maintaining required certifications and spare parts inventory in the van. The role demands strong communication, customer service, and the ability to read electrical and hydraulic schematics, with a valid driver’s license and DOT certification.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school; or 5 years relevant experience.
• 3 years prior experience in similar or related field.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to read, understand and follow electrical and hydraulic schematics.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshooting and repair of commercial and industrial floor cleaning equipment at customer sites or in the branch shop.
• Complete required service reports and time sheets.
• Maintain training and certifications current.
• Keep van spare parts stock level at specified levels.
