Job summary

Linde Material Handling is seeking a Field Service Engineer to join our team in the Nottingham area. You will diagnose and repair a range of forklift trucks and material handling equipment, while delivering preventative maintenance and on-site service to customers.

The role combines hands-on work with problem solving and requires travel to client sites. The ideal candidate has experience as a vehicle technician or mechanical engineer, with forklift experience highly desirable, and IT literacy to

Qualifications

• Candidates with experience as vehicle technicians or mechanical engineers, especially forklift technicians, plant fitters or vehicle technicians.
• NVQ level 3 (or equivalent) is preferred but not essential.
• Good IT skills and ability to use IT equipment for record-keeping and ordering.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and resolve technical issues on Linde forklifts and other material handling equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance and routine servicing across customer sites.
• Travel to customer locations and build strong customer relationships.
• Work autonomously and as part of a team with a focus on safety and efficiency.
