Job summary
Scot JCB are seeking a skilled plant engineer to join our field engineering team, covering Bedford and surrounding areas with travel to Nottingham, Leicester, Coventry and Oxford. This is a home-based, field role requiring travel to customer sites and the depot for inspections, with a competitive hourly rate, overtime and a bonus.

Qualifications
- Experience with construction plant and relevant qualifications.
- Hands-on repair and maintenance of plant machinery.
- Ability to diagnose faults using electronic equipment.
Responsibilities
- Repairing and maintaining machines on customer sites to spec.
- Completing daily paperwork on phone/tablet.
- Submitting timesheets and job cards.
- Ordering parts and coordinating with the parts dept.
- Working with the service supervisor.
- Inspections and repairs at depot per spec and regs.
- Ensuring safety and reporting defects to management.
