Job summary

Kearney Electric is seeking a Field Service Electrician to perform electrical service work, troubleshoot, and complete small installations for commercial and industrial clients in Arizona. The role travels to different job sites in a service vehicle, supporting project managers and adhering to safety standards.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of field experience, a Journeyman license, and the ability to read blueprints and diagnose electrical issues.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of electrical field experience or maintenance role.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Thorough understanding of electrical systems, NEC code, and standard troubleshooting procedures.
• Ability to read blueprints, specifications, and quality requirements.
• Experience working on commercial and industrial projects.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain electrical systems, panels, lighting, and equipment.
• Respond to service calls and emergencies promptly and professionally.
• Read and interpret blueprints, one-lines, and wiring diagrams.
• Install and maintain electrical components including switchgear, conduits, and transformers.
• Prepare detailed service reports and maintain daily logs and material usage records.
