Power Equipment Company is seeking a Field Heavy Equipment Mechanic to join our team in Colorado Springs. The role focuses on service and support in the field, diagnosing mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues on heavy equipment. A CDL B license and prior heavy equipment experience are required, with own tools a must.

The position emphasizes safety, high-quality customer service, and on-site problem solving. Overtime may be required to meet service commitments and project deadlines.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical school preferred.
• CDL B license required; clean driving record ideal.
• Experience as Heavy Equipment Technician/Mechanic with strong diagnostic skills.
• Must own basic tools and be able to use diagnostic testing equipment.
• Experience with diesel engines, hydraulics, and electrical systems.
• Familiarity with computer maintenance software and systems.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain a safe work environment and comply with all safety policies.
• Inspect, diagnose, and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic faults on heavy equipment.
• Maintain accurate service logs and repair reports for billing.
• Overhaul and test machinery to ensure efficiency and manufacturer specs.
• Perform preventative maintenance and lubrication on equipment.
• Keep up-to-date on equipment models and repair techniques through training.
• Extend overtime as needed to meet service goals.
