Job summary

United Site Services is seeking a Fence Technician responsible for safe transport, installation, and removal of temporary fencing at customer job sites. You will ensure timely service delivery while complying with safety standards and help onboard new team members.

Responsibilities include inspecting tools, coordinating with the Fence Helper, and reporting work progress. CDL Class C is required, with emphasis on time management and customer service.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of commercial driving experience.
• Two years of general labor experience.
• Valid CDL Class C.
• Excellent time management, customer service and communication skills.
• Strong problem‑solving and decision‑making skills.
• Ability to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily inspection of all tools assigned to the truck to ensure safety and proper working condition.
• Check loads to ensure that truck has all material (fence panels, poles, etc.) and tools needed to complete service tickets.
• Conduct daily pre‑shift vehicle inspection and report deficiencies to shop immediately.
• Operate fence vehicle to and from pre‑designated work sites.
• Unload all fence materials and install fence panels, with appropriate tools, at work site in accordance with pre‑determined specifications.
• Coordinate the workload and the efforts of the Fence Helper. Examine and inspect work progress, equipment & work site to ensure that specifications are met.
