Job summary

United Site Services is seeking a Fence Technician in Oakland, CA to transport, install, and remove temporary fencing at customer job sites. Candidates will drive, load materials, and ensure safety and high-quality service across daily operations.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of commercial driving experience.
• Valid CDL Class C license.
• Excellent time management, customer service, and communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Ability to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Inspect tools on the truck daily to ensure safety and working condition.
• Verify loads include material and tools to complete service tickets.
• Perform daily pre-shift vehicle inspections and report deficiencies.
• Operate the fence vehicle between designated work sites.
• Install fence panels and locate placement per specifications.
• Coordinate workload and supervise Fence Helpers, monitor progress.
• Meet with site superintendent to confirm work orders and communicate changes.
• Record personnel, production and operational data; report to Fence Manager.
• Train Fence Helpers and reinforce safety best practices.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
