Job summary

Holcomb Behavioral Health Systems in Exton, PA is seeking a Family-Based Counselor to deliver mobile therapy to children, adolescents, and families in homes and community settings. You’ll work closely with a clinical team and receive comprehensive supervision.

This role focuses on evidence-based interventions, treatment planning, and collaboration to strengthen families and improve outcomes, backed by a Joint Commission-accredited program.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a human services discipline (Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, Human Development, etc.)
• 1+ year of experience in behavioral health
• Experience working with children, adolescents, and/or families
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
• PA clearances (Act 33 & 34, FBI fingerprinting)
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Comfortable providing services in community and home settings

Responsibilities

• Conduct individual therapy with children, adolescents, and family members
• Facilitate family therapy sessions in collaboration with your clinical team
• Provide mobile therapy services in clients' homes and community settings
• Deliver crisis assessment and stabilization services when needed
• Implement evidence-based treatment interventions tailored to each family's needs
• Maintain a balance between individual and family therapy modalities
