Job summary

Holcomb Behavioral Health System in Exton, PA is seeking a Family-Based Counselor to provide mobile therapy in homes and communities, collaborating with families to foster resilience and positive change.

You will receive clinical supervision, deliver evidence-based interventions, and participate in planning, documentation, and coordination with the clinical team, while meeting the needs of children and adolescents and their families.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a human services discipline (Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, etc.).
• 1 year of experience in behavioral health.
• Experience working with children, adolescents, and/or families.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
• PA clearances (Act 33 & 34, FBI fingerprinting).
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Comfortable providing services in community and home settings.

Responsibilities

• Conduct individual therapy with children, adolescents, and family members.
• Facilitate family therapy sessions with the clinical team.
• Provide mobile therapy services in homes and community settings.
• Deliver crisis assessment and stabilization when needed.
• Implement evidence-based treatment interventions tailored to each family.
• Maintain a balance between individual and family therapy modalities.
• Assist in developing comprehensive treatment plans with clients, families, and team members.
• Create behavior management plans in consultation with the clinical team.
• Coordinate care with other treatment professionals and community providers.
• Balance team-based and individual interventions for optimal outcomes.
• Maintain high-quality clinical documentation.
• Submit timely payroll and billing documentation.
• Communicate effectively with payers to maintain service authorizations.
