Job summary

EMCOR Facilities Services, Inc. is seeking a maintenance technician to deliver on-site services across a Grand Rapids territory, with a company van and tools provided for travel between client sites.

The role involves preventive maintenance and repairs across plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, HVAC, and related trades, using a tablet to submit work orders and reports. Requirements include HS diploma or higher, 2–5 years mechanical experience, valid driver’s license, and ability to read

Qualifications

• HS diploma or certification or equivalent professional experience in landscaping, trades (Electrical, HVAC, Plumbing) or related fields preferred.
• Two to five years mechanical experience including electrical, plumbing, carpentry; or equivalent combination of training and experience.
• Must possess applicable certifications, licenses, and valid driver’s license in good standing.

Responsibilities

• Completes preventative maintenance and repairs per work orders and company procedures.
• Performs minor plumbing maintenance such as unclogging drains and repairing leaks.
• Performs routine painting, carpentry, electrical work within state regulations.
• Maintains safety and compliance during daily tasks and communicates work order status.
