Job summary

Project 180 is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Technician to support day-to-day maintenance and operation across multiple locations in Los Angeles. The role involves performing repairs, completing work orders, moving furniture and equipment, and assisting with company vehicles and supplies.

Qualifications

• Experience with general facility maintenance and repairs.
• Basic knowledge of HVAC/A/C systems and preventive maintenance.
• Ability to perform basic A/C troubleshooting and routine maintenance.
• Ability to perform basic appliance troubleshooting and maintenance.
• Comfortable replacing water pumps and similar maintenance components when appropriate.
• Basic plumbing, painting, carpentry, and repair skills.
• Comfortable using common hand and power tools safely.
• Ability to create, update, track, and close maintenance tickets to document completed work.
• Ability to follow work orders and identify facility and safety concerns.
• Able to travel between Project 180 locations and work independently.

Responsibilities

• Complete assigned maintenance requests and work orders.
• Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs.
• Replace light bulbs, HVAC filters, hardware, doors, fixtures, and other basic maintenance items.
• Perform routine maintenance and basic troubleshooting on A/C units.
• Identify repairs that require a licensed or specialized contractor.
• Keep maintenance tools, equipment, and work areas clean and organized.
