Job summary

CBRE Mobile Engineer role is based in the Providence area, focusing on facility maintenance for retail sites. You’ll handle HVAC, plumbing, electrical and general repairs, using a company vehicle, tools, and fuel card provided by CBRE.

You will inspect mechanical, plumbing and electrical systems, manage work orders, and ensure safety and regulatory compliance while maintaining inventory and providing proactive maintenance.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or trade school with 4-5 years of related experience; combo of experience and education considered.
• Universal CFC certification and valid driver’s license required.
• Ability to read and interpret manuals, schedules and inspections; proficient in MS Office and Apple products.

Responsibilities

• Oversee maintenance and repairs of mechanical, plumbing, structural and control systems to meet standards.
• Review building inspections (HVAC, plumbing, electrical) to ensure operation fits design specs.
• Manage work orders, estimate time of completion and materials needed.
• Maintain truck stock and tools inventory.
• Perform preventive maintenance and oversee emergency repairs as needed.
• Ensure compliance with codes, regulations, and safety directives.
• Operate company vehicles for daily tasks.
• Apply standard principles to complex assignments and provide solutions.
• Lead by example aligned with CBRE RISE values.
