Job summary

OHOS Hospitality LLC is seeking an Events Bartender to provide exceptional service while preparing and serving beverages at mobile and on-site events, ensuring adherence to recipes and guest preferences.

The role requires maintaining a clean bar, verifying ages, handling payments with handheld POS, and coordinating with servers and kitchen staff to deliver memorable guest experiences.

Qualifications

• Minimum age as required by state law to serve alcoholic beverages.
• Previous bartending or hospitality experience preferred.
• Knowledge of standard drink recipes, beer, wine, and spirits.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic math and POS handling skills.
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as business demands.
• Responsible alcohol service certification preferred or required, depending on state and local regulations.
• Professional appearance, punctuality, teamwork, and adherence to company policies.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to recipes and guest preferences.
• Verify guest age and ensure compliance with alcohol service laws and company policies.
• Provide friendly, attentive, and professional customer service.
• Set-up and Breakdown of Mobile Bar for on-site and off-site catering events.
• Process credit card and other payment transactions accurately with Handheld POS system.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary bar area throughout each shift.
• Restock liquor, beer, wine, mixers, garnishes, glassware, and supplies as needed.
• Monitor guest consumption and refuse service when appropriate in accordance with responsible alcohol service guidelines.
• Assist with opening and closing duties, including inventory, cleaning, and POS reconciliation.
• Communicate effectively with servers, kitchen staff, and management to ensure excellent guest experiences.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, health, and safety regulations.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
