Job summary

Roshal Health is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist for Bastrop, TX. This PRN role involves performing ultrasound exams in an ER environment, across abdominal, OB and vascular studies, while ensuring patient safety and high-quality imaging.

Applicants should have RDMS certification, at least 1 year post-graduate ultrasound experience, a valid driver’s license, BLS/CPR, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of ultrasound imaging experience post-graduation.
• Current ARDMS certification - RDMS (ideally in Ab or OB).
• Valid Driver’s License.
• BLS/CPR Certification.
• Professionalism and strong interpersonal communication skills.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
• Pass all necessary health requirements for hospital employment, including drug screen and background check.
• Comfort level with general abdominal, general OB & general vascular scans/procedures.
• Ability to use mobile phone devices & applications.

Responsibilities

• Perform ultrasound diagnostic studies in accordance with accepted protocols.
• Maintain professional demeanor and respond promptly and professionally to all work-related calls.
• Contact the assigned facility with estimated arrival time and arrive at the facility within prescribed timeframe.
• Follow prescribed safety standards in operating equipment.
• Maintain work areas in compliance with client’s standards.
• Maintain accurate records, reports and files, as directed.
• Document work processes, as required.
• Perform other duties, as assigned.
