Job summary

Roshal Health in Austin, TX is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist for PRN shifts. The role focuses on performing ultrasound studies across abdominal, OB, and vascular imaging in ER and hospital settings, with independence and strong patient interaction.

Requirements include ARDMS RDMS, at least 1 year post-grads ultrasound experience, BLS/CPR, valid driver’s license, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of ultrasound imaging experience post-graduation.
• Current ARDMS certification – RDMS (ideally in Abdominal or OB).
• Valid Driver’s License.
• BLS/CPR Certification.
• Professionalism and strong interpersonal communication skills.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
• Pass all health requirements for hospital employment, including drug screen and background check.
• Comfort with general abdominal, general OB & vascular scans.

Responsibilities

• Perform ultrasound diagnostic studies per accepted protocols.
• Maintain professional demeanor and respond promptly to work-related calls.
• Contact facility with estimated arrival time and arrive within prescribed timeframe.
• Follow safety standards in operating equipment.
• Maintain work areas per client’s standards.
• Maintain accurate records and files, as directed.
• Document work processes, as required.
• Perform other duties, as assigned.
