J.B. Hunt is seeking a Mobile Technician II to perform intermediate maintenance and repairs on tractors, trailers, and power equipment at customer sites or rail yards using our mobile service truck. You will troubleshoot ABS systems, manage inventory, and mentor trainees while adhering to safety standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent with 2 years of relevant maintenance/repair experience or military equivalent.
• Ability to supply basic tools or purchase through toolbox program.
• Willingness to work outdoors and across multiple shifts, including nights/weekends.

Responsibilities

• Perform intermediate preventive maintenance and repairs on tractors/trailers; tire/brake/electrical work.
• Troubleshoot and repair ABS systems.
• Operate mobile service truck and manage truck inventory.
• Mentor tractor technician trainees.
• Follow safety procedures and complete work orders; document damages.
• Demonstrate cutting torch and welding equipment use; patch holes; inspections under supervision.
