Job summary

JB Hunt Transport, Inc. is hiring a Mobile Technician II to perform intermediate maintenance and repair of tractors, trailers, and equipment at customer sites or rail yards using a mobile service truck.

Responsibilities include diagnosing and repairing ABS, performing mid-level repairs, and documenting work orders. Requires 2 years of relevant experience, a clean driving record, and the ability to work outdoors and across shifts.

Qualifications

• 2 years in semi-tractor/semi-trailer maintenance and repair or equivalent experience.
• Clean motor vehicle record per JB Hunt guidelines.
• Own basic tools or participate in toolbox program.
• Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Commitment to safety and ability to work across shifts, including nights/weekends.

Responsibilities

• Perform intermediate maintenance and repairs on tractors and trailers.
• Troubleshoot ABS system and electrical components.
• Operate mobile service truck and manage inventory.
• Mentor tractor technician trainees and ensure proper onboarding.
• Complete work orders and document repairs per procedures.
• Document damages and estimate repair costs; perform inspections under supervision.
