Job summary

The Home Depot is seeking a Mobile Service Technician to maintain and repair light construction equipment at stores and customer sites within Lafayette, LA. You will conduct preventive maintenance, perform repairs, and ensure equipment safety and rental readiness while documenting all work in the company platform.

You must have at least 3 years of service experience, MEWP/DOT certifications, and a valid drivere2b1s license.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 3 years of experience servicing construction equipment (maintenance, troubleshooting, minor repairs).
• DOT medical certification and MEWP safety certifications required.
• Valid drivere21s license; outdoor work in varying conditions.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on fleet equipment at store locations or customer sites.
• Inspect equipment for rental readiness and safe operation.
• Maintain MEWP certifications and fleet inventory; deploy equipment between locations.
• Document all work using the company technology platform (labor and parts).
• Assist with equipment deliveries and pick-ups as required.
• Respond to service calls and order parts as needed.
